A coveted residential address, Al Majaz is a peaceful and family-friendly area launched by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority. The community is built on the curve of Khalid Lagoon, a creek where the seawater of the Arabian Gulf flows. It not only attracts renters and buyers but many people visit the place just to witness scenic views. Moreover, the area promotes healthy living as there are plenty of spaces for outdoor activities. There are plenty of parking slots in the area. The nearby area of Al Qasba has a number of paid parking spaces that are handy for visitors. For residents and tenants, there are reserved parking spaces in residential towers. Visitors of the waterfront may find parking difficult on the weekends.
Ideally, taxis should be hailed to reach the neighbourhood. However, there are no bus stops within the area or Buhaira, the nearest bus stop is in Al Jubail. From here there are a number of buses that pass through Al Majaz including E303, E303A, E400, E304 and E307A. These are used to get around Sharjah and to travel to Dubai. It is situated in a busy and well-established region of Sharjah. The area adds many conveniences to its resident’s lives as it has numerous supermarkets, marts, mosques and healthcare centers. This area has plenty of supermarkets. The largest supermarket in Al Majaz is Lulu Hypermarket. Other supermarkets that are within the community are Al Fayes Supermarket, Metro Manila Supermarket, Shams Al Buhaira and Al Fatour Supermarket. These are only a few of the options nearby. There are quite a few churches located in the Sharjah’s famous Al Yarmook district. Here you will find Church United – Sharjah, Marthoma Paris Sharjah, Russian Orthodox Church and more. Christian residents can reach the Al Yarmook area in around 15 minutes. The closest Hindu temples are Shiva temple and Shiridi Sai Baba Mandir. For the Sikh community, there is a Sikh Gurudarbar located close to the temples. Located in Dubai, all these options are a 22-minute drive away. There are numerous mosques in the area. To name a few, there is Al Ansar Mosque, Abdullah Ibn Abbas Mosque, Al Taqwa Mosque, Suhail Bin Amr Mosque and Al Salam Mosque.
