The 9 km long Corniche Road is one of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic roads. After all, it is home to the Abu Dhabi Corniche, a famous public beach with many amenities for fitness, entertainment, and communal events. Boasting many landscaped pathways and parks, this waterfront locality is also lined with an impressively long sequence of high-rise buildings that enhance the glamour of Abu Dhabi’s skyline.
Located at the far western end of Corniche Road, the peninsula of Al Ras Al Akhdar is where the luxurious properties of Corniche Road lie. Here you will find commercial and residential skyscrapers of Etihad Towers. Properties in Corniche Road consist of residential apartments in highrise buildings. There is no property for sale here, but if you want to rent a flat on Corniche Road, you’ll be overwhelmed with the many choices available. The rental properties here range from lavish studios to 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom layouts. The higher-priced units are often fully furnished penthouse suites. These are also located in Etihad Tower 1 and are serviced by the Jumeirah at Etihad Tower Hotel.
With covered areas between 550 sq. ft. and 1,000 sq. ft., the rental prices of studios on Corniche Road start from AED 45k and go up to AED 100k per year. 1-bed apartments on Corniche Road come with either one or two bathrooms, a decently sized kitchen and an airy living room. With sizes ranging between 670 sq. ft. and 1,342 sq. ft., the annual price of 1-bed units starts from AED 55k. The luxury apartments are serviced and offer full views on the sea and of Corniche Road. The average price of 2-bed flats on Corniche Road is AED 115k per annum, whereas 3-bed apartments have a more comprehensive price range between AED 80k and AED 380k, per annum. A larger apartment property such as a 4-bed unit is available for rent with prices fluctuating between AED 100k to AED 330k.
The most famous building on Corniche Road is Etihad Tower, where the average rental price for 1-bed units is AED 91k. Baynuna Tower 1 is the second most popular building, while Corniche Tower follows close where the average rental price for 1-bed units is AED 77.5k. Rounding up the list is Bay Tower, Golden Tower and Landmark Tower. Facing the Emirates Palace, the Etihad Towers complex is one of Abu Dhabi’s architectural marvels. It features a cluster of five skyscrapers standing at different heights. The Sheikh Suroor Projects Department developed Etihad Towers and was architected by the leading outsourced company DBI Design. Tower 1, known for housing the Jumeirah at Etihad Tower Hotel, features 382 hotel suites and 199 serviced apartments. Tower 2 of Etihad Towers is the second tallest building in Abu Dhabi. Towers 2, 4 and 5 are purely residential, whereas Tower 3 comprises commercial spaces, most of which are office units.
