Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi

Housing grants project approved by Sharjah is beneficial for the resident. But what housing grants actually is?

Housing grants basically provide an alternative for families with low incomes to secure the funds that are needed to obtain a house. This can be used for the purchase of a house, buying a rental property for house income, renovations of the existing properties, or to get assistance when in danger of losing a home through foreclosure.

The main source of this funding is the federal government. Sharjah Executive Council approved the first batch of housing grants, and that will help a good amount of people.

As per the new batch, this program will include all the cities and regions of the Emirates of Sharjah. The lists target the beneficiaries from the new construction to the maintenance and renovation of the existing properties.

There is also an approved list of all the beneficiaries of the converted housing support decision that has to be revised from the loads category to the grant category. The total value of this plan is AED 19.7 million.

The whole plan of the housing grant will be helpful for the residents of Sharjah who want to buy mini units, renovate their houses, or any other thing that is listed for the eligible beneficiaries.

All the people looking forward to building a house in Sharjah can take help from this housing grants facility by the government. This is the step towards making Sharjah more applicable and convenient for the residents by helping them build their houses. There are various projects in the pipeline to provide the best and most relaxed living atmosphere to the residents. And all of this will bring prosperity to the resident and help in developing Sharjah’s better and healthy living space.
