Jumeirah Park is one of the most beautiful, green, and eco-friendly communities in Dubai. The developer, Nakheel, has set about landscaping attractive green spaces and parks across 350 hectares – hence the name of the community. These idyllic parks will prove a huge draw for families. Handover of the first villas occurred at the end of 2012, and the process has continued in stages.

Jumeirah Park master plan

A new shopping complex, Jumeirah Park Village, opened at the end of summer 2014 and houses many amenities, including a Géant supermarket, restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, beauty salons, and laundry facilities. Schools, children’s day-care centres and a community clubhouse are part of the plans and will be added attractions for parents once the project is complete. For now, Dubai British School in The Springs and Emirates International School in The Meadows are just a short drive away. Peace and quiet come hand-in- hand with the lifestyle here, despite the construction work that is still underway in some sectors.

Jumeirah Park townhouses prices

Prices will vary depending on the location, view and the level of upgrades made to the villa. At the moment the return on investment (ROI) is not high; it’s a correctional market so there isn’t money to be made from flipping, but demand is high so it’s potentially a good investment opportunity for the future.

Jumeirah Park buildings

Jumeirah Park is in a very central location. It’s close to Dubai Marina, JLT, Jebel Ali, Ibn Battuta Mall, and Sheikh Zayed Road. Sheikh Zayed Road is the main access point, although residents can also enter through The Meadows and Jumeirah Islands. For those who don’t drive, there are public transports and while taxis rarely pass to flag down, they are just a phone call away. This is certainly a family-orientated community. The villas have large gardens for kids to play in and children’s play areas are scheduled to be developed.

Jumeirah Park floor plan

Jumeirah Park offers about 2,000 independent villas with three to five bedrooms. All homes have a maid’s room and a garage and are finished to very high standards. They are designed in three unique themes: Heritage features traditional Arabian architecture; Legacy has a distinct European look, with sloping Spanish rooftops and red-and- yellow brick walls; meanwhile, the flat terraces of Regional follow the Hattan-style façade popular in other communities. The spacious gardens are a real asset to every property. Plot sizes start from a generous 5,500 square feet and extend to 12,000 square feet at the higher end of the market. While they’re not landscaped, Nakheel has equipped the four and five-bedroom villas with swimming pools.
